Senior Developer / Technical Architect (Java Spring / JavaScript Node Full Stack). Are you a Senior Developer looking to progress your career to a Technical Architect / Lead position?

Global online financial trading site (FTSE 250 listed) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer / Technical Architect to join the Software Architecture Team. You'll be responsible for architecting and designing all public facing websites / Marketing IT systems to reduce inefficiencies, improve the infrastructure and resilience and streamline the development and release process to enable development teams to move faster whilst maintaining standards.

You'll remain hands-on with the code and will dedicate every Friday afternoon to researching and experimenting with new technologies, making recommendations and introducing new technology to the stack to drive improvements as you look to introduce Docker, Kubernetes and AWS amongst others to modernise the stack.

You will be working in a professional yet informal atmosphere in impressive, City based offices with breakout areas and a range of onsite facilities.

Requirements:

*Strong development skills with Java and / or JavaScript, Node.js in a web environment

*Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Build systems

*Good understanding of Agile principles and how to apply them

*Full lifecycle development including testing strategies and tools

*Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills, approachable and able to achieve buy-in
