IT Operations manages the IT infrastructure and supporting services that are critical for HSBC employees and customers, such as cost-efficient hardware, system software, middleware and databases, data centres, voice and data networks, ATMs, desktops and other devices.

It employs around 8,500 employees globally and comprises five functions: Client Services, Enterprise Services and Architecture, Data Centre and Service Management, Relationship Management, Project Management and PMO, and Risk and Administration. Collectively, these areas define and deliver HSBC's technology strategy to support the Group's goals.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Business Analyst - Insurance Technology.

In this role, you will:

* Document quality IT solution designs in conjunction with business analysts and IT Architects,

* Define detailed end-to-end system solutions

* Work with the Business teams to assist in the prioritising and elaboration of the backlog of user stories

* Participate in the scrum sessions, reviews and retrospectives

* Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across HSBC, including Insurance business colleagues and 3rd Party Vendors, based globally

* Collating costs, estimates and resource profiles from IT development teams during project initiation to facilitate project planning and delivery

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* Experience of leading IT solutions analysis in a complex environment, working with multiple teams and stakeholders across different geographies and time zones.

* Experience of working with multiple IT technologies, particularly with regards to Digital

* Proven involvement with large projects to translate business requirements into solution designs, whilst understanding the business context of what is required, working across the full project lifecycle from initiation to implementation

* Experience of working within Agile project methodology and having an understanding of the concepts and terminology used
