We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team and take responsibility for the management and execution of all marketing activities in line with the strategic business objectives. The Marketing Manager would be expected to take an active part in creating a marketing activity plan to meet the defined objectives, and then own the execution of the activities, measuring results and reporting back into the Global Head of Marketing.

Activities will include (but not be limited to) brand awareness and thought leadership across all channels, campaign management, demand generation programs, audience communications, event management and more. We follow an integrated approach to our marketing activities, incorporating the most appropriate mix of online and offline activities required to meet the specific objectives, so rounded experience in all aspects of marketing would be beneficial with a strong emphasis on content-led and digital marketing.

The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record in a similar role and be able to work at all levels of the business. You will need to work both strategically and tactically, utilising existing resources where required in the execution of activities. We are looking for passion, drive, ‘can do’ attitude and practical skills among others.

Key responsibilities

                         Management and execution of all marketing activities.

                         Developing a marketing activity plan for the company in line with business objectives.

                         Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.

                         Maintaining and increasing brand awareness in the general market and with target audiences.

                         Ownership and execution of marketing campaigns and demand generation programs.

                         Working closely with the commercial and sales teams.

                         Management of all online and offline assets and communication activities, including the corporate website and social channels.

                         Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.

                         Monitor, measure and report on effectiveness of the marketing activity plan.

                         Engagement and management of any agencies.

                         Management of the marketing team.

                         Working closely with other areas of the business to assist with activities such as new product launches.

                         Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed and on message.

                         Take an active role in internal social engagement activities within the business.

                         Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

Experience and skills

                         Experience of managing a marketing team is preferred.

                         Working in a B2B marketing role, ideally with a tech influence is desirable.

                         A good understand of, and experience in, digital/online marketing is essential.

                         Experience of using content management systems desirable, not essential.

                         IT literate.

                         Excellent communications skills and good written English a pre-requisite.

                         Knowledge or experience with Microsoft technologies a benefit.

                         Good team player capable of building positive relationships with peers and colleagues.
