DevOps EngineerA large engineering company with a global presence across multiple sectors are seeking an ambitious DevOps Engineer to join their growing project focussed Linux, automation and CI/CD team. The successful DevOps engineer will work in the local DevOps team as part of a global network, primarily working to migrate deployment pipelines from legacy systems onto a new Jenkins/Maven/Nexus platform. The successful DevOps engineer will also play a big part in introducing further Linux infrastructure automation into the team's methodology, shaping the tech stack going forwards.The Company:A leading engineering company with a global DevOps, infrastructure and development network, working on a projects spanning multiple sectors. They are looking to build a strong Manchester team capable of delivering large scale projects independently as well as part of the larger group tech network, so project delivery and team leadership experience would be advantageous. The successful DevOps engineer will be a dedicated technologist, capable not only of mastering their core tech stack but also researching and introducing new and emerging technologies.DevOps Engineer- Technical Requirements:

'€¢Linux Systems Administration and Deployment'€¢CI/CD - Jenkins, Maven, Nexus and similar'€¢Automation - Chef, Puppet, Ansible

Experience with the following is a bonus:

'€¢Git and BitBucket'€¢Docker and other containerisation/orchestration technologies'€¢Jira, Confluence
