UX/UI Specialist / Front-End Developer

Maximum profile level: 5

Specific expertise: UI design, XML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery

Minimum bachelor’s degree and 13 years of experience

Location: Brussels

Day rate: 490 euro

About the role:

The methodology used for development is based on Standard Agile Click here to contact this recruiter , PM2 (PM Square) or Click here to contact this recruiter The technical environment is based on Oracle 11g and Weblogic 12

Eclipse is used as Java development environment

Visual Studio Code is used for client-side development

RTC or JIRA are used for source control and activity tracking

RFT and Selenium are used for functional testing

Edge, Internet Explorer 11, Chrome and Firefox are the web browsers

TOAD or SQL Developer are used as development utility for Oracle

All documents must be written in MS Word 2010 or later

Non-exhaustive list of the tasks to be carried out:

Design of wireframes and mock-ups (or other visual prototyping) which lead to intuitive user experience and translation of business concepts into system interface

Design of user interfaces

Implementation of the client-side of (web) user interfaces

Contribution to the analysis of the user interface requirements

Contribution to the evaluation of user interfaces (including usability studies on real stakeholders and/or clients)

Contribution to the server side of (web) user interfaces

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Excellent knowledge of:

UI design best practices, especially good understanding of responsive design

User Experience Analysis & Research techniques, in order to understand usage context and business vision

Web: XML, HTML 5, CSS 3

User Experience Research techniques (usability studies etc) o Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

Very good knowledge of:
