Senior network engineer

Start date: Asap

Duration: 6 months with possible extensions

Rate: Market competitive rate

Seniority: 5 years in networking environments.

Mandatory: Security Cleared

Language: Fluent in French OR Dutch

Location: Brussels

Role will include:

                     in charge of the daily network operations

                     in charge of implementation of complex projects, migrations and changes on network level

                     performs root cause analysis of complex problems on network level

                     create detailed network designs

                     ability to create technical documents than can be clearly understood by readers by presenting useful information that is clear and easy to understand for the intended audience

                     Has a good understanding of : Firewalls (Checkpoint / Fortinet / Netscreen / Stonesoft / Cisco ),IPS (Stonesoft), VPN (Juniper),Cisco switching (Lan/ WLAN),Cisco DC LAN Nexus, Load Balancing (F5), BlueCoat Proxies, Infoblox

Additional:

                     At least 5 years experience in complex networking environments

                     Bachelor/Master in IT

                     Client oriented

                     Dynamic and able to work under pressure with shifting priorities

                     Willing to work in 24*7standby regime

                     Certifications as Cisco CCNA or CCNP is an asset

                     ITIL Foundation certification

                     Onsite work at Customer location with very limited options for home working
