I'm looking for an Azure focused DevOps engineer for a project with my client who are based in the Stockton-on-Tes area of the North East.
The client:
They are a global technology supplier that deliver end-to-end systems and services based on innovation, scalability, specialist integration and the flexibility to grow with changing requirements and emerging technology for the complete mobility network.
The role:
As part of the Engineering Team, the Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and automation of:
* Development & Test environments and tools
* Deployment and release pipelines
* Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems
* Mentor and advise DevOps/developers and managers on all aspects of DevOps domain
Essentials:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Platform.
* Development tools such as Jira, Jenkins, SVN, Git, Confluence, Octopus using scripting languages such as PowerShell.
* Producing technical documentation to support application detailed design, tests and technical notes.
* Practising infrastructure as code using automation scripts (ARM Templates, Terraform or Powershell)
* Strong problem solving skills and experience on multi server sites.
