Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Up to £525 p/d - 6-month term Initially.

An opportunity has arisen to join this banking group in a Senior Infrastructure Engineer capacity within a large enterprise server team to delivering core BAU workstreams supporting the Splunk Platform covering Windows Server and the accompanying security and storage technologies such as Tivoli Monitoring, LANDesk, McAfee Virus Scan and VMWare. This is to work for a large banking group (London Hub employing c.1000 individuals) with 400+ strong IT unit supporting the EMEA region.

Daily monitoring - service availability, platform health, performance monitoring

Windows Server 2008 R2 and above

VMware ESX

SAN Storage - EMC / Hitachi

ITIL framework knowledge (ideally certified)

MCSE qualified
