Some universities might be content with a reputation for high quality, internationally-leading education, research and innovation. Not us. At the University of Plymouth, we're investing across the board to build on what's already an outstanding student experience. It means providing our 23,000 students with the latest tech and excellent support. So we're growing our IT team and helping talented staff to develop. Join us and discover a University that's bursting with ambition, potential and opportunities.

As a Service Desk Analyst, you'll provide first line support for Technology & Information Services (TIS). At this level, you will be expected to have the skills and knowledge to resolve all common incidents and requests, as well as providing advice and assistance to less experienced colleagues. Whatever the task, you'll provide great customer service and keep all parties informed. If you can't fix the problem straight away, you'll consult third line teams where necessary. And where possible, you'll look for ways to improve what we do and how we work.

The pace, range and volumes of work will require people who maintain a professional approach and customer focus at all times; confident in dealing with people at all levels of the University with varying degrees of digital literacy, in order to provide technical support to their customers and high levels of first time fix. It is an exciting time to join our University in what will be a busy, fast-paced role. You will gain exposure to new and well-established technology.
