Salesforce Developer

Edinburgh

6 Month contract

I am looking for multiple Salesforce Developers to join my clients Developer and support team. I am looking to hear from all Salesforce Developers that have at least 6 months experience, or someone who already has a good understanding of Java or any other object oriented programming language, but wants to move into the fast growing and highly in-demand ecosystem of Salesforce.

You will be delivering small changes to my clients Salesforce org, and providing third line help desk support to investigate and provide bug fixes.

I am looking for Salesforce Developers that are keen to improve their skills as you will be fully supported in developing on the Salesforce platform.

You will be required to work closely with other members of the IT team, as well as business owners and end users to ensure the service meets the needs of the business and our customers. The role holder will be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle from initial concept through to final implementation.

Essentials:

*Experience in at least one of Java, C#, C++ or other object oriented language

*Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude to ensure the development of robust solutions using appropriate tool-sets

*Good written/verbal communication skills - with the ability to translate highly technical information to a level appropriate for the intended audience

*Able to train colleagues and super users

Desirables:

*Educated to degree level in Computing & IT or equivalent level qualification or relevant professional experience.

*Salesforce certified

*Current or recent experience of development of solutions using one or more of the following technologies: (Salesforce Apex classes, visualforce pages, web service APIs, Javascript, Java, Python, SQL or Oracle)

*Able to manage small projects independently
