Global commercial insurance underwriter is seeking a bright Junior DBA to join their talented team and develop and optimise the current SQL Server estate. Your key duties will include; installation and configuration of SQL Servers, monitoring of the SQL Server estate, contacting vendors for technical support, controlling and monitoring user access to databases and managing database changes.
Based in London, you will be joining a friendly, collaborative and supportive team.
Requirements:
*SQL DBA skills (will also consider MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle)
*Previous experience maintaining and supporting SQL Server estates
*Experience in running and writing query reports
*Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database operational issues
*Keen to learn new skills
*Excellent communication skills
