Business Development Lead

Home working with travel to client sites

£50,000-£60,000 base + commission on every deal

I am currently working with a globally successful Software Solutions provider who have a very exciting and unique requirement that they are looking to fill as soon as possible.

This organisation provide high quality Software Solutions based on the Microsoft suite to their high-end clients across multiple industries, so if you are keen to engage with very well-known companies, such as Microsoft, in verticals to enhance your sales profile this position is not to be missed. In this position you won't be managing a team but you will be managing the full sales process in the UK and will be responsible for your own success. You will be managing your own diary and your own clients whilst being involved in the full sales cycle. You will be generating new business, following up on existing leads through to product demonstration and sales delivery so every day will be a different and exciting challenge working from home and travelling to client sites.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has software sales experience. In addition to your sales skills, you'll need to be able to understand the customers often complex requirements in order to construct a deal and sell the benefits to heads of business as well as the ability and desire to work in a small and dynamic environment and the main responsibilities will include:

* New business sales

* Selling digital workplace solutions to C level contracts

* Engaging with heads of business

* Managing large sales targets

* Maintaining a strong market image for the company

* Follow up with prospects/leads and send them relevant information and marketing collateral to assist the sales process.

* Generating new leads

* Product demonstration

* Closing deals

* Working with cross functional teams in the business

My client is looking for an experience Business Development/New Business professional who ideally has experience:

* Within a sales role in the IT field/Digital Workplace solutions market

* Experience of managing sales targets of around 1 million pound per annum

* Strong client facing and interpersonal skills

* Experience with Microsoft technologies

* A proven track record of Software sales with the ability to articulate business benefits

* Experience selling complex deals to the business

* SharePoint and Office 365 experience/knowledge beneficial
