Working as part of a rebranded Group IT team who specialise in IT Security, Risk and Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting the multiple businesses within the Group with security strategies, security monitoring and incident response.
You will carry out data security risk identification, implement data discovery toolsets, roll out and promote the data classification policy and work with Big data teams to identify security risk within their environments.
Key competencies:
Strong technical knowledge in infrastructure and applications. Essential: Knowledge of security architecture and principles
Familiar with various types of encryption algorithms and their applications
A team player, willing to take on additional tasks if needed
Desirable:
A solid understanding of compliance standards (DPA, GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO27001 etc.)
Relevant security certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
Experience of data discovery tools
A further Microsoft certification would also be desirable.
Experience of managing/monitoring security toolsets, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Web Proxy, etc.
Knowledge of the ITIL or COBIT framework.
Experience of carrying out security awareness training
As the IT Security Analyst, you will demonstrate both a broad understanding across technical elements and governance around IT security.
