Purpose: To provide effective technical security support for the group’s companies and to manage, develop and lead the IT Security Assurance team.
You will also be involved in day-to-day security monitoring, incident response, forensic investigation, project related work as well as other BAU tasks.
Responsibilities:
Managing, developing and leading the IT Security Assurance team
Supporting the Strategic Security Manager
Reviewing project security risks as part of the Solution Design Authority
Carrying out daily monitoring of security toolsets and reporting incidents according to the Security Incident Response Escalation Process
Carrying out security related investigations as and when requested
Managing the enforcement and continuing development of Information Security policies, procedures, standards, baselines and guidelines.
Working with the internal and external auditors to demonstrate information security related controls and to drive the remediation activities
Identify and advise on upcoming legislation changes that affect data security and privacy.
Key Competencies:
At least three years’ experience gained in a technically focussed security role
Broad experience of a wide range of security related technologies and products
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of common security management principles and regulatory standards (e.g. GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).
Strong technical knowledge in infrastructure and applications.
Knowledge of security architecture and principles
A solid understanding of compliance standards (DPA, GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO27001, etc.)
Relevant security certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
Experience of managing/monitoring security toolsets, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Web Proxy, etc. Key Skills And Knowledge
