Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (MathCAD/FEA)

Are you a mechanical design engineer from a materials handling/machinery/heavy industrial background looking for a senior autonomous role where you will take the technical lead on specialist design projects?

On offer is a varied and challenging role where you will work on cradle to grave design projects for an expanding company who can also offer future development opportunities as they continue to grow.

This role is for an establishing manufacturing company who are seeking to recruit dynamic and highly self-motivated engineers to complement their design team. You will be taking the technical lead on projects working out stress calculations and managing the project from concept through to completion.

This is a great opportunity to work for an industry leading company in an autonomous role where you will be the technical expert and lead various exciting projects.

This role would suit a mechanical design engineer from a materials handling/machinery/heavy industrial background ideally with MathCAD/FEA experience.

THE ROLE

* Taking a lead role in the successful completion of a design and delivery project

* Producing detailed 3D design drawings for in house manufacture

* Completion of all procedural paperwork

THE PERSON

* Mechanical Design Engineering background

* Proficient in the use of Solidworks

* Ideally have some experience of MathCAD/FEA/Stress Analysis
