Python Developer - Investment Bank (C++/C# Front office FX Options)

Python Risk Front office Developer with strong software development and Python experience. Strong interest in understanding the business needs. Use of unit-testing strategies

Source code version control. The candidate must have strong communication and analytical skills. Desirables: Knowledge of FX Options or another asset class / business area, C++ or C#, Continuous integration w/ JetBrains TeamCity, Bug tracking with JIRA, Source code refactoring.

Great opportunity for a Python Developer who wishes to get into the Investment banking industry and especially FX Options business.

Role:

Developing a new functionality for the business users to aid viewing and understanding their risk, developing software to satisfy regulatory requirements and improving current software to improve releasability and robustness of the existing software.

The systems the team develops and supports are classified as Tier 1 (business critical), which requires a very flexible approach to work. Developers are expected to respond quickly to changing trader requirements and to issues escalated from the front line support team.

The candidate must be able to interact confidently with business users and be responsible for the full software-development life cycle. Candidates will be expected to have a proven track record of delivery and a detailed knowledge of the systems they have worked on, having contributed significantly to their architecture and design. Experience of options or structured products would be beneficial.
