Software Developer (Linux Kernel C). Seeking out an opportunity to utilise your software development knowledge and experience within a fantastic work environment? Global leader in networking solutions is seeking a Software Developer to design and implement embedded firmware which runs on 10G network controllers. You will work across the full development lifecycle, providing low latency and high performance products for clients including Investment Banks and Stock Exchanges. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging developer role where you will be continuously developing your skills and helping the company move into new markets.

Requirements:

*Record of academic achievement, minimum 2.1 from a well-regarded university, ideally you will have gone on to study at MSc / PhD level (Maths, Physics or Computer Science preferred)

*Experience of working at the hardware / software interface on embedded systems ideally with extensive knowledge of system software and device drivers

*Good knowledge of networking technologies including Ethernet and TCP/IP

*Excellent communication skills
