Computer Futures are currently recruiting a PL/SQL Developer to join one of our clients successful, dynamic and experienced in house development team. The team is responsible for developing all of our client's core business systems, with a key focus on a next generation platform they are looking to build.

The new platform was a 'green field' product that rethought how to deliver a number of products and services, to significantly improve the functionality they offer to their customers.

What will you be doing?

As PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of their existing systems as well enhancing these systems with new features. You will also be given the opportunity to work on a mixture of new developments. In this role you will also be given the opportunity to gain, or develop, Oracle OBIEE Data warehouse, and Oracle Ebusiness Suite.

Experience

* PL/SQL skills including stored procedures, packages, triggers

* Strong database design principles (normalisation and indexing)

* Excellent SQL skills; e.g. complex queries and merge statements

* Good optimisation skills using relevant tools

* Oracle object types

* External tables
