Operational Security Analyst

The Ideal Candidate for this position will have 3+ years' broad, demonstrable experience and understanding of working within a MOD environment. Knowledge of MOD security procedures and best working practices and a working knowledge of current doctrine and notices. They will be expected to deputise for the Security manager and escalate issues as required to provide the responses in a timely manner. Have good technical auditing knowledge and able to provide logical and relevant reports to senior management both written and verbal with an expectation of delivering briefings to large audiences. Must have the ability to work within a team and independently at times under pressure to ensure the correct analysis is conducted. Assist or provide cover for the Security Administrator if required.

* This position requires a DV level clearance

* Good Analytical and problem solving skills

* Sound and detailed knowledge of general security procedures and policies.

* Good understanding of MOD Security best working practices and publications

* Understanding of incident response and escalation actions

* Assist or provide cover for the Security Administrator if required

* Working knowledge of IT Security.

* Ability to work alone whilst under pressure.

* Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach.

* Good verbal and written technical communications skills.
