Junior Project Manager - 6-7 month contract (until end of March 2019)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Project Manager to join a high-profile, public services company in the City of London. This role will play a key part in a large-scale, on-going project that involves moving on-premise content and tech to Office 365, including SharePoint documentation migration.

The Junior Project Manager will need to ensure a smooth and easy process for all users involved, whilst engaging with multiple users and keeping a recurring pattern of tasks, whilst running to schedule to meet tight deadlines.

As a successful Junior Project Manager, you will need to manage all activities relating to the migration of SharePoint document storage to Office 365 following a pre-defined MS project plan. The role will be hands on and will require you to not only support / manage the end to end migration process, but also run the migration tool.

Skills and experience required for the Junior Project Manager:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Demonstratable skills in a project management role; preferably as part of a tech migration project

* Experience and understanding of the nature of writing for the web

* Comfortable liaising with and training stakeholders who will ultimately take on a content owner role

* Understanding of metadata and tagging

* The ability to work independently and self-manage

* SC Clearance highly preferred

Location: Victoria, City of London

Day rate: £170-£190 per day

Length: 6-7 month contract (running until end of March 2019)

NOTE: Considered within the regulations of IR35 - potential candidates for this role would have to go through an umbrella company.
