Head of Software

Head of Software/PIC/Rabbit/WinCE/Digi/ Permanent/£65-80K

A leading engineering company has engaged with Spring Technology to recruit a Head of Software to join their business. You will be leading a team of both hardware and software engineers delivering commercial projects across a variety of products and technologies.

You will be leading development projects across mainly PIC, Digi, Rabbit and WinCE based technologies. As the ideal candidate you will work on projects that will require you to plan, coordinate and the full delivery lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications

*You will need to have experience with Analogue and Digital Design (SMPS, Micro etc.)

*Exposure to Schematic Capture, ideally Altium.

*An understanding of Driver interfacing to I2C, SPI, RS485, CAN and Ethernet is essential.

*It would be beneficial if you had commercial experience of Embedded C
