Automation TesterA leading life sciences organisation are looking for an Automation Tester to join a talented engineering team to help develop a framework and analytical applications. They're looking for a creative and innovative Automation Tester to bring new ideas from areas including UI design, mobile, data storage, networking, distributed computing, data processing.The Automation Tester will be joining a cross functional team to work closely with architects and management. They are adopting techniques such as continuous delivery and TDD / BDD.The Role:As the Automation Tester, you will be part of an innovative and creative work environment where you will receive a comprehensive induction and be supported to carry out your role and to progress within the company.The Automation Tester can play your part in an organisation which offers opportunity for promotion, access to management and leadership roles, and a supportive and friendly working environment. Automation Tester Responsibilities:

'€¢Design, develop, execute and maintain test cases covering all aspects of the software'€¢Work in close partnership with software developers to improve product quality'€¢Provide supporting documentation in accordance with the software development processes and codes of practice'€¢To contribute towards continuous integration and delivery frameworks'€¢Communicate with internal and external users to provide software and technical support'€¢Be creative in identifying opportunities for improved productivity, efficiency and quality'€¢The Automation Tester will develop strong working relationships with other departments

Automation Tester Qualifications:

'€¢Previous experience using BDD, Gherkin, Jasmine and / or SpecFlow'€¢Previous experience as a full stack developer'€¢An understanding of software engineering practices - (eg. TDD, Unit Testing, BDD)'€¢Are passionate about software testing which you can clearly convey by your actions and experiences.'€¢Have the ability to solve complex problems'€¢And have excellent communication and decision-making skills

Desirables:

'€¢Experience with C# programming (or another programming language eg. Java)'€¢Previously worked in an agile environment'€¢Previous exposure to Continuous delivery'€¢Exposure to Security Implementation (eg. TLS, PKI, OWASP)'€¢Continuous integration / Delivery
