A fantastic opportunity has risen for a Software Development Engineer to join a successful company in Slough working on wireless backhaul solutions. My client is a leader in high power wireless telecommunication technologies based in Berkshire who are expanding their team and now looking for a software development engineer to join their team with strong experience within the telecommunications and networking domain.

The ideal candidate will have experience of C/C++ programming within an embedded environment as well as proficiency with Python. You will also need to have excellent experience with telecommunications, specifically with 3G, 4G and 5G systems as well as WiFi and 3GPP. Experience with networking is also a key skill for example with Layer 2 and Layer 3 as well as 802.3 and 802.1. You will also need to be proficient with Linux and have a good understanding of the software development life cycle.
