1st Line Support Analyst

I have recently partnered with a market leading ISP based on the outskirts of Bristol who are looking to add to their growing business with a 1st Line Support Analyst.

I would welcome applications from both graduates looking to move into IT support or Networking and from anyone with an IT support background and a good understanding of networking fundamentals.

In this role you will act as the first point of contact for customers, receiving calls and emails, logging these on the ticketing system, troubleshooting, and resolving connectivity and VoIP connectivity issues. Any issues which you can't resolve will then be escalated to senior networking or support teams.

Requirements:

* Degree in Computing or experience working in an IT support role e.g. Helpdesk or service desk

* Good knowledge of network fundamentals

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Good telephone manner

* Good analytical and problem solving skills

* Understanding of the following would put you at an advantage: ADSL, FTTC, FTTP, networking, VOIP and associated broadband technologies (TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP)
