Senior Data / AWS Engineer - Big Data - London - £90k base

Join a company that loves to solve big data problems, in which crawl vast websites, producing terabytes of data, to then apply queries at scale in order to provide world class insights to their customers who need to manage their SEO.

You will join up with experienced engineers to create testable, monitored, efficient and documented big data solutions.

Some of your key responsibilities:

* Work with algorithm and platform engineers to provide the very best in class architecture solutions.

* Be the expert for people to go to for all things AWS

* Import huge datasets into elastic and optimizing queries for serving that data.

* Create solution diagrams, documentation, release and maintenance strategy.

You must have:

* AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional)

* Great experience of architecting solutions using AWS platform and infrastructure services.

* Experience with high-volume data processing requirements including Big Data, event streaming and async messaging architectures

* Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards (ISO 27001)

* Experience scripting (Python, Powershell, Bash)
