This is a new opportunity to join a company working on imaging applications based in the famous University town of Leuven in Belgium.

They currently seek an experience Analog IC Design Engineer to join their design team working on some very interesting applications related to imaging. You will play an important role in the development and implementation of new and creative readout architectures for the companies next generation products.

Responsibilities include the study, design, development and test of high-quality and high-performance detector circuits. You will be acting as a technical team lead to overcome challenging technical projects with a team of experts and coach junior design engineers and improve their level of technical expertise.

Analog IC Design tasks will include; creating conceptual designs for integrated sensor systems, realise systems from design track to realisation on board-level, including testing. Characterisation, modeling and optimisation of ASIC circuits in existing technologies and evaluating emerging ASIC technologies for future integrated micro-systems.

Industry degree qualified the successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years in Analog IC Design. You will be an experienced user of the Analog flow using Cadence or Tanner, Mentor Calibre for LVS, DRC and XRC and mathematical tools (e.g. Matlab/Python).

Excellent problem solving skill are required. You will be a self motivated, efficient individual able to work alone or in a team and will demonstrate creative, critical and independent thinking capabilities. Excellent communication skills in English are required.
