Technical Lead Up to £55k and Great Benefits

Global leader in distribution, who supply metal worldwide is expanding and looking to recruit a Technical Lead to be based in there Southampton office. You will be responding for Heading up the Software Development and Infrastructure Team, who deliver all In-House applications used in their Global Supply Chain. This is a growing dynamic company who have ambitions to change the way the world engages in distribution.

Experience of some of the following technologies, is essential:

*Visual Basic .Net or C# Knowledge

*Web Development and Infrastructures

*Mobile Application Development

*Various Databases (DB2, SQL Server Access)

*AWS

*RPG Knowledge

Role Overview

This role would be suited to someone who is willing to be hands on within a new role, as this would be 50/50 split between development and leading, the Technical Lead will be working closely with the Managing Director and Global Director of Advanced Technologies to ensure the strategic alignment across the business. The Technical Lead will need to have excellent understanding of all aspects of the SDLC.

This role has emerged to bring extensive software and architectural knowledge to grow the company, as well as bringing creativity to solve complex and intriguing supply chain problems. The right person will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Salary: up to 55K with 28 days holiday, contributory pension, yearly bonus, opportunity to travel to Europe.

This would suit someone who has held the following titles: Technical Lead, Development Team Lead, Development Lead, Lead Developer, Principle Developer.
