A world leading security and technology service provider who have invested billions of pounds in their services working with the most high profile clients on the most cutting edge projects. This role is available as they are expanding their training and apprentice division.

The role

You will conduct the training, support and development of the Avionic trade Apprentices within the Engineering Technician Apprenticeship; and for the Assessment of the Level 2 and Level 3 Competence qualifications. The role will also provide tutorial and pastoral support across the school.

Key Accountabilities

You're responsibilities will include delivering both theoretical and practical lessons in the relevant subject areas including aviation maths and science. Also, you will identify the needs of learners and reflect your teaching methods as necessary.

It will be your duty to prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and learning material in accordance with guidelines, assessing performance and progress in a well-documented manner ensuring to complete learner progress reports to a high standard.

Management of your own Continuing Professional development is key to ensure your knowledge and skills are maintained in order to fulfil your role in a competent, highly skilled manner.

Experience and Qualifications

At minimum candidates are expected to have a level 3 Aeronautical Engineering qualifications with a specialisation in Avionics. A Degree or level 4 qualifications in this subject would be advantageous

Experience working within an education or training environment within a relevant sector is essential and qualification in teaching or assessing would be seen as beneficial.

Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and experience supporting and contributing to the overall course design and delivery would be an added bonus

You must be an effective communicator and able to relate to a wide variety backgrounds in an engaging and motivating manner
