SQL Database Administrator Salary: £40k - £45k + Benefits Package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SQL Database Administrator to join a well-established organisation situated in Northampton.

The main purpose of the DBA role is to administer and manage the company's database systems, ensuring that the reliability and integrity of these systems falls within targeted uptime. The role will be responsible for ensuring that the integrity of databases is maintained and that business continuity procedures are in place to recover systems in the event of a failure.

Skills / Environment

SQL Server 2000 to 2017

Database Administration / Tuning / Management / Security

Desirable

Progress database management / administration

Knowledge of Legal IT systems

Understanding of SCOM monitoring

Knowledge of SQL instances for SAP and SharePoint

This role may suit candidates who have held any of the following job titles: SQL Database Administrator, SQL DBA, Database Analyst
