Solution Architect Kent to £80k

Solution Architect (Web REST API JavaScript Agile TDD). Join a highly successful software house behind the broadcasting of Formula 1 racing and have a big impact on their digital offerings.

As a Solution Architect you will take ownership of the creation of a new platform with heavy reliance on APIs, microservices and integrated SaaS solutions; defining standards for solution design and delivery. You'll work closely with third parties, leading the upfront design of the platform and APIs to define common patterns and reusable components that can deliver core digital capabilities, ensuring that they are well documented. Liaising with stakeholders you will ensue that products are delivered to agreed schedule from a technical perspective and run POCs.

You'll be based in Kent, parking available (driveable from Sevenoaks, Bromley, Biggin Hill, Croydon - off M25); there's a friendly and informal atmosphere with casual dress code and onsite canteen.

Requirements:

*Experience of system and software design in either a developer or architect role

*Strong foundation with full stack web development (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, Perl, Ruby, Golang)

*Experience of designing and integrating REST APIs

*Experience of delivering web, mobile or platform products

*Advocate of Agile TDD / BDD development practices

*Familiar with cloud based technologies such as AWS and Google Cloud

*Advanced communication skills, comfortable managing third party suppliers, liaising with stakeholders and presenting
