In this role the Senior RF IC Design Engineer will work on the specification, architecture and RF/Analog IC Design of circuits and sub-systems for integrated RF transceivers for next generation of satellite communications in deep sub-micron technologies.

You will be working on block and architecture design of various blocks including; LNAs, Mixers, TIAs, Filters and Power Amplifiers and will be responsible for the design of complex transceiver blocks in 22nM FDSOI processes.

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics, the successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years experience in RF IC Design up to 15GHz in CMOS design ideally in 22nm and/or in mmw/MMIC design. Experience in Cadence Virtuoso Design tools is essential. Strong experience in the design of state-of-the-art RF CMOS circuit design and cellular transceiver architectures is required also.

This position would suit someone who is interested in working in a start-up environment with an independent and proactive attitude. You will have the ability to interact with engineering teams across multiple disciplines during IC Design project stream development. Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to take responsibility for projects and timescales. Flexibility in your design approach and willingness to investigate novel areas or concepts which increase performance is also important.
