Learning and Development Manager

£30,000 - £38,000 + Holiday + Pension + progression

Excellent opportunity for a learning and development manager to enter into a new role where you will create and implement unique training plans for a rapidly developing company with exciting career prospects.

Do you have experience in creating and implementing new companywide training plans? Do you have experience in a production environment?

The company supply solutions for the production industry. Their reputation for sustainability and quality is exceedingly important to them. They have grown extensively and are aiming to be number one in their industry in the near future. They are looking for someone who can completely review their current training then develop and deliver a site wide learning and development strategy.

In this role you will identify issues with the current training plan and create a new plan after a full gap analysis. You will then be required to oversee the implementation of this plan to ensure it runs effectively and adapting the plan when required as well as delivering hands on training to employees. It would be beneficial if the candidate had experience in training non-UK nationals.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced learning and development manager who has the confidence to create, implement and manage their own training plans that work for the business. A background in production is essential and preferably experience from within the food or FMCG industry. Attention to detail is essential to ensure the training plan is executed effectively. CIPD support is also available for the right candidate along with progression and personal development.

The Role:

* Assess the current level of training and identifying gaps and issues

* Creating a new plan to effectively manage all training

* Continuous assessment of the training plan to maintain standards

* Co-ordinating and delivering training effectively

* £30,000 - £38,000 + Holiday + Pension + progression

The Person

* Experience in learning and development management within the production industry

* Personable and preferably with experience in training non-UK nationals

* Looking for personal development and growth

* Good knowledge of the apprenticeship levy would be desirable
