Are you an experienced, analytical and solutions-focused Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a proven track record of delivering the full IT lifecycle? If so, this exciting new role in Nesta’s Technology Team will see you help drive our updated Technology Strategy through the management and integration of cloud systems, applications, and APIs.

About this pivotal role
Reporting to the DevOps Manager, your primary focus will be managing the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Nesta’s cloud infrastructure and cloud-based applications. You will also oversee the integration of new services with Okta single sign-on, implementing AWS and Azure solutions, server setup and testing, while ensuring a stable and high-quality IT service operation for all teams. You will also be expected to:

           Review inefficiencies across all IT operations, making recommendations and delivering improvements
           Offer expert training and mentoring to staff
           Implement and manage integrations between existing systems and platforms
           Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders across the entire organisation

Our ideal candidate
You will have a wealth of experience, from technical requirements capture, high level architecture and design, to documentation, build and handover into operations. You will also have experience administering and integrating a variety of platforms, including Amazon AWS services, Microsoft Azure VMs and networks, Domain registration, public DNS management, web hosting, and CloudFlare, plus Okta SSO and Identity Management.

An outstanding communicator, both verbal and written, with superb relationship-building abilities, you will be solutions-focused and enthusiastic about the opportunities and challenges technology presents. A confident, mature and collaborative approach to your work is also vital.
