Cisco Pre Sales Consultant

Field Based

£60K - £80K plus car and company bonus

The Pre-Sales Consultants primary role is to support the Sales teams in the creation and development of sales opportunities. Through understanding of the customers business goals and strategy, the Consultant should help qualify and understand the Customer’s IT architecture and strategy, ensure that they understand the business's broad value proposition, and to identify and drive (from a technical perspective) opportunities within customer accounts across the entire portfolio. The Pre-Sales Consultant will deliver quality High-Level Designs to the customer, engaging other resources as appropriate. The Pre-Sales Consultant will work closely with Sales to deliver an excellent overall customer experience.

What you will do:

To work with and support Sales in accounts, to design, influence and shape the Customer’s IT architecture and strategy to deliver HLDs that meet their business outcomes.

To assist in the development of an account strategy and contact plan for accounts aimed at raising the awareness of the company's value proposition and developing opportunities across a broad range of Solution areas.

To assist the Account Manager and/or Bid Manager with the technical qualification of a new business opportunity or prospect, or with a complex requirement within an existing Customer account, to ensure that it aligns with target markets, portfolio, delivery and lifecycle services capability.

To assist the Account Manager and/or Bid Manager respond to formal tenders when issued by customers, ensuring that responses are of the highest quality.

To build a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Customers in accounts and to help customers with road mapping their requirements and future needs.

Your experience will include:

Broad knowledge of current Cisco Product portfolio, solutions and Architectures

Extensive experience of designing Cisco networking Solutions including management and provisioning platforms

Experience of designing and demonstrating Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration products and services

Extensive experience in a Pre-Sales Consultant capacity with an advanced understanding of service and sales principles and practice

Recognised Professional level Cisco accreditation such as CCDP or CCNP as a minimum.
