Are you an Engineering Manager or Director from a rail, heavy engineering or construction engineering background looking for potential to progress into a Managing Director role?

On offer is a post where you will be responsible for the entire Design, manufacture and delivery of specialist re-engineered plant equipment supplying into the Rail industry.

Working with the senior management team, the Engineering Director will be responsible for the delivery of projects within budget, time and quality as the company expand into a new division that will be under your control.

This company are a specialist manufacturer of specialist plant equipment used in the rail industry and have a focus on delivering specialist equipment and re-engineering plant equipment.

Covering the entire UK, established over 30 years ago, with a headcount of 850, this company have aspirations of growth and there will be exciting personal development opportunities available.

This role would suit an Engineering Manager or Director from a rail, heavy engineering or construction background looking for progression.

The Role:

*Managing the design/manufacture and delivery of projects

*Managing the upgrades of machinery

*Full fiscal responsibility

*South West based role, covering from Bristol to Newton Abbot

*Expansion of a new division

*Starting with 25 direct reports, 80% engineering based

The Person:

*Hands on engineering experience

*Management experience covering man management, continuous improvements, managing costs and process control

*Rail OR Heavy Engineering OR Engineering Construction background

*Looking for potential progression to MD level

*Live in the South West of England
