Job Description

Lead Clinical Analyst is the single point of accountability for the delivery of Clinical Apps projects within the Clinical IT Experience Team. They will meet the following objectives; manages the day-to-day activities of assigned tasks; and management of small to medium sized projects. Utilise approved policies, processes, methodologies and tools to support the customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Acts as a single point of accountability for project(s) delivery of within the Clinical IT Experience Team;

Manages multiple projects of varying complexity;

Maintains HCA Enterprise project upgrades, releases, vendor relationship, and enhancements within Clinical IT Experience Team

Responsible for working collaboratively to drive the delivery of clinical application architectures, designs, solutions, features enhancements, service requests, and defect resolutions - across the end to end clinical experience.

Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for Senior and other Clinical Analysts.

Lead the delivery of projects and applications using the appropriate Project Management methodology, ensuring quality assurance is in place across all projects and implementations;

Lead tender process (including RFI, RFQ and RFP) to deliver solution selection, working closely with Procurement and IT&S Architecture.

Hold regular project briefings & status updates focusing on the project delivery.

Skills and Experience

Previous relevant project and technical application experience developing, upgrading and supporting applications.

Previous experience in software development life-cycle management.

Strong project management and technical aptitude.

Proven project management experience in an IT clinical and technical role.

Able to clearly document technical processes and procedures.

Relevant applications experience including; strong application knowledge including development, configuration and support, knowledge of clinical applications/software and working knowledge of SQL.
