Business Intelligence Developer - £35,000 - Newcastle

The BI Developer will play a pivotal role within the global IT team. The team are currently responsible for delivery of IT services to approx. 1200 users, across 12 offices worldwide (with continued growth planned in 2018 and 2019).

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Business Intelligence and Analytical reporting output solutions cross a wide business estate / operational teams. This will include scoping, planning and managing business projects involving all aspects of BI solutions and data warehousing such as data sourcing investigations, design, implementation, testing and end user support.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity of getting involved with key data projects to improve data quality, mobilise data and improve business efficiency through reporting (SSRS, Qlik).

* Deliver and support reports being developed on Qlik Sense and Salesforce

* Identify & implement any improvement to data systems using project management skills

* Set up reporting systems that can regularly measure & monitor KPIs across the business to meet specific business targets

* Working with the business to support business processes through reporting systems

What the succesful candidate will bring;

* Experience working in SQL Server technologies: SSRS, SSIS, or SSAS

* Exposure to Salesforce and building reports/dashboards highly desirable

* 2+ years commercial technical experience working with QlikSense or QlikView

* Expert communicator with solid interpersonal skills

* Experience of defining, implementing & maintaining reports

* Willingness to go above and beyond your responsibilities to ensure tasks are completed

* Passionate about data

* Strong work ethic and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure

* Good customer service skills
