Head of Data Architecture/Lead Data Architect - Cloud

My client is an online tarding platform renowned for it's innovation and contribution to cutting edge solutions. They handle outrageous amounts of data on a daily basis, circa 5 billion API calls per day (more than the European financial exchanges combined).

With great data, comes great responsibility.

The Data Architecture/Lead Data Architect will need to have proven deep data warehousing, BI and data integration experience.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in advanced analytics and machine learning also! The role is very cloud based so you will have experience with at least one of the major cloud vendors.

These guys are trying Amazon & Google's Machine Learning tools, you will get a chance to get involves with as much of it as you wish.

Leadership and motivation is also key, this candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating 8 people across multiple locations.

A few accountabilities for the Head of Data Architecture/Lead Data Architect:

* Own the technical vision and roadmap for strategic data capability

* Lead the technical design of the Data Lake, Big Data, Data Warehouse, Data Integration and Advanced Analytics platforms as well as associated end user data exploitation tools.

* Provide support to Data Product Owners to articulate and build advocacy for our vision for data among business stakeholders.
