Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £300-350/day (outside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

The Role:

* You will be responsible for leading the business analysis activities in new digital application solution projects.

* The role will play a crucial part of implementing the organisation's digital strategy by developing sustainable digital and information solutions that modernise, innovate and transform the delivery of user focused services and to improve the way our organisation works.

Requirements:

* Well developed and proven analytical capabilities and demonstrable knowledge of applying appropriate IT business analysis methods/techniques to explore, define and deliver stakeholder requirements.

* Experience of interpreting business requirements and translating them into structured requirements specifications with clearly defined deliverables.

* Experience of leading or working as part of a project team to implement IT solutions and digital business transformation or improvement requirements.

* Woking with JIRA or similar issue tracking software.

* Experience capturing and documenting requirements and use cases, business rules, requirements traceability, UML modelling, using storyboards.

* Appropriate professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2, Business Analysis and ITIL certifications.
