This company is a Bridgend-based telecoms and IT specialist, installing and supporting systems in businesses across South Wales and beyond. They pride themselves on a personal, friendly but professional approach and the majority of their clients come via recommendation and referral.

They have a requirement for an IT Support Engineer, who will primarily be responsible for remote and telephone support, with occasional on-site support, of Windows networks, servers, workstations and peripherals, including hardware repairs.

Experience of Windows, MS Exchange server and network protocols is essential (please understand that applicants without such experience will not be considered). Knowledge of Apple and MAC OS would be advantageous.

Candidates must have excellent customer-facing skills - the company engages with its clients as individuals, not ticket numbers.

The position is based in their Bridgend offices, but the successful candidate may be expected to travel to client sites on occasion.

Working hours are 9am to 5pm, Mon-Fri, but they would expect candidates to appreciate that IT Support can never strictly be 9-5.

The salary stated is indicative; the actual salary will be dependent upon the successful candidate's experience and skill-level.
