Market Research Analyst - Cambridge - up to £45k starting salary

A new and exciting Market Research Analyst role has just opened up in Cambridge. This company was founded in the 1970's and since then has been established a global reputation, which has been able to meet the needs of manufacturers and sets new industry standards with both quality and reliability. This company currently has around 200 distributors, operating in over 120 countries and employing over 2,700 people around the world, in countries such as the UK, USA, Germany and Sweden.

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analysing data internally and externally, whilst sharing these market opportunities to your team. You will be able to provide both primary and secondary research into other competitors' activity, which will benefit business decision-making, including the strategic planning, sales and marketing lead generation and portfolio management.

In this role you will be able to design and manage an annual rolling programme of VOC research, which you will be then able to inform the different sectors of this. You will also be able to conduct in-depth sector research and convert insights on market/competitor activity into recommendation reports and presentations using either Power BI or Tableau.

In this role, there will be occasional travel in which you will gather information for your research.

Skills/Experience Required;

* Experience working in B2B research, marketing or business analysis, in either in-house or agency

* Experience with either Power BI or Tableau

* Experience data gathering, analytics and data mining

* Experience with VOC programme development and management

* Good experience with Excel and data presentation

Desired Skills;

* Knowledge of the Coding and Marketing industry
