MS Dynamics NAV Finance Director

My client is looking for an experienced Finance Director/Manager to fill in a 12 month contract for maternity cover. The current Finance Director is leaving in 1 month but will have to hand over all up to date work and reports. Financial control is a key responsibility. You will have to develop and enforce policies to minimize risk and be on top of company reports. You will also manage a team of accountants and financial controllers to handle day-to-day tasks.

You will be in charge of setting budgets and working very closely with department heads to make sure that all income and expenditures remain within target. You need to maintain control over all financial transactions, take all responsibility for managing the company's liquidity, ensure that all cash flow is balanced and in credit.

Key skills and Knowledge to be considered;

* Extensive experience working in accounting, covering all accounting aspects including managing month end and year end processes

* CIMA/ ACCA/ qualified and/or finance degree

* Strong Understanding of MS Dynamics NAV/Navision accountancy system

* Advance knowledge of Excel

* Basic experience in people management - previous experience team leading / managing a small team
