TE VHDL/PGFA Engineer

Role Summary:

Using the VHDL language to test aviation critical equipment.

Develop a custom IP module in VHDL which implements a proprietary serial communications bus. The module will integrate into a Xilinx Vivado project, and be implemented on a Xilinx Zynq SoC.

Key Activities:

Develop VHDL code for the serial communications bus, including simulation and testing.

Write design and verification documentation for the VHDL module.

Work with the embedded software engineer and hardware engineer to integrate the VHDL module into the SoC project.

Essential Responsibilities:

Define detailed requirements based on available source documents.

Delivery of VHDL module and documentation to the project.

Support for testing, integration and verification activities.

Experience:

Experienced VHDL developer, familiar with Xilinx Vivado development environment.
