Communications Engineer is required by prestigious organisation in their Farnborough offices.

As the communications Engineer you will be carrying out Data Cabling installations and maintenance, this will support new infrastructure installations, moves, adds and changes to data/voice network to meet agreed SLAs.

You will provide support services for projects and field break/fix maintenance to the data/voice network/infrastructure.

Responsibilities for the Communications Engineer include:

* Carry out field Installation Moves And Changes of the voice/data network

* Carry out field data/voice cabinet construction

* Administration of the help service desk call system (Resolve)

* Carry out field support for project services

* Work on projects for new building refurbishments of IT cabling & containment.

* Carry out installations of passive cabling & infrastructure containment.

* Shadowing the Desktop Team to gain broader skill set.

Essential Skills for the Communications Engineer:

* Eligible for SC clearance

* Happy to travel to other sites (10% travel)

* Previous experience in Data/Telecoms engineering role

* Strong communication skills both written and oral

* Prior experience with Resolve would be advantage
