A prestigious Global Semiconductor Company seeks a Degree qualified Verification Engineer with proven commercial verification experience to join their Bristol based team.

The successful Verification Engineer will join a talented team working on leading edge broadband carrier access chips with the main focus on new IP core verification and integration of the world’s leading IP. Applications are welcomed from all levels of Engineer with the focus on solid Verification skills.

To be part of the team you will ideally have:

                                         A minimum of a good Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar.

                                         Proven experience with advanced Verification techniques.

                                         Good to have but not essential: RTL Design (Verilog preferred).

                                         Code and functional coverage, C/C++, UVM, Formal Verification.

                                         UNIX scripting (C-shell, Perl), Emulation.

                                         Some experience with communication technologies such as Ethernet, WiFi etc.

This Verification role will give you ownership of all aspects of verification through test plan specification, test implementation and debug and there will be the opportunity to extend your experience into other front end work such as chip integration and emulation.
