Role: Java developer (Messaging specialist)
Rate: £400 - £440 per day
Contract length: 6 months (Likely to extend beyond this)
When they want someone to start: Immediate start up to 4 weeks wait (Perfect if you have a notice period)
Role overview
Our client, a leading e-commerce company in Leeds are looking for an experienced Java developer with plenty of Messaging experience, to work on a brand new project working on highly scalable systems using up to date technology.
This project is still in the early stages and will be Greenfield development to replace old hubs and developing the tech all around revising and pushing through data.
If you haven't already you will get the opportunity to work in a team that has recently moved over to AWS - This isn't a necessary skills however any experience in this would be highly desirable.
Experience required for this role
· Recent commercial experience using Java 8 or above.
· Experience building back end systems using Micro-services
· Experience with Spring/Spring Boot
· Recent experience with Rabbit MQ, Active MQ or Similar.
· Experience working in TDD environments - bought into the approach
Desirable experience for this role
· Experience with AP Dynamics
· Experience working in Agile environments
· Experience with concourse or Jenkins
· Experience working with AWS
· Experience working with Camel
