A brand new role has become available in Wolverhampton for an Engineering Team Lead to come on board and support the businesses expansion plans, one being commissioning a second line. You will over-see 4 engineers on site services and line/shift and be the most senior engineer at the factory on a night shift. The company is Global organisation with lots of room for growth and progression within the business.

Your main tasks will include, but not limited to:

* Assist in driving the implementation, review and evolution of maintenance & reliability best practice across the site to maximise plant reliability, efficiency and asset health

* To be the 'front-line' initial point of contact for all operational and services engineering issues during allocated shift periods and co-ordinate skills and resources on shift to optimise plant performance

* Ensure effective use of the Maximo CMMS system to provide pertinent information on plant and department performance and advise on operational focus

* Project co-ordination, encompassing all aspects from project scope, timetable of works, Health & Safety planning, budget allocation and control and co-ordination of engineering and production requirements

* Provide 'front-line' operational management of the Human Resource requirement for all on-shift engineers, in line with company policies

* Co-ordinate cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders to ensure assigned tasks from the business plan, operating plan, environmental health & safety plan and engineering plan are achieved

* Provide leadership and development for on-shift engineering team

* Assist the engineering management team in ensuring a safe plant, safe systems of work and a safe working environment is achieved and maintained

* Maintain legal compliance in all utility supplies/discharges.

You will be a Multi Skilled Engineer, preference for Electrical biased (but don't worry if you are mechanically biased), with some management experience. You could be an Engineering Team lead already, or you could be looking to step up to this position.
