Systems Architect
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Architect to join a market-leading business at their offices in Potters Bar! This is a brand new role and is a really exciting time to join the organisation, as they are right at the start of a large multi-year transformation journey. The successful Systems Architect will be responsible for delivering actuarial systems, covering HR, legal and finance, to the wider business.
Working as a Systems Architect, your role will include:
* Working with System Analysts to ensure that physical designs are consistent with logical designs and requirements.
* Collaborating with build and infrastructure teams to shape design and ensure delivery achieves its objectives.
* Defining project architectures to give direction to the design of software, and the choice and implementation of systems.
* Assessing the architectural impact and implications of business or technology changes that are being considered.
* Working with the Software Integration Architect to design flexibility, within and between domains, to enable rapid delivery of change and limit the impact of changes into manageable chunks.
To be considered for the Systems Architect position, you will need to demonstrate:
* Strong experience and track record of delivering solution-level architecture.
* Experience of working with actuarial (i.e. HR, Legal, Financial) systems.
* Experience working with cloud-based systems is desirable.
* Insurance and/or financial services industry experience is advantageous.
