IC Resources is working with a highly successful telecoms business based in Sweden to find a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to build a team designing IP Camera products. This is a pivotal role within the business as you will be building a team from scratch to design a new range of products. In this role you will:-

* Be responsible for the mechanical system or platform architecture design of IP camera (IPC) products.

* Define a leading competitiveness compared to our competitors.

* Responsible for the evolution of the mechanical architecture, improve present solutions and take an important role in the definition of the future mechanical platform.

* Analyze the evolution trends of IPC products, identifying the key technologies and how to implement them.

* Defining the benchmark of specific technology according to the IPC trend of the field, drive the mechanical system design to be a highly competitive edge.

Required experience:-

* Masters/PhD in mechanical design and at least 10 years of related engineering of electronics, with a substantial part of that SPECIFICALLY working on IPC products

* Hands on experience designing IPC products

* Knowledge of the optical design of IPC products

* Natural leadership ability
