Java Microservices Developer

Technology Consultant required for Software Development projects, with responsibilities to include creating detailed design artefacts including program specifications and test plans, independently developing and reviewing code, and working to create go-live plans.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or international equivalent from an accredited institution

* May consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.

Experience

* 5+ years' experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, HTML, CSS, JSP/JSF, CGI, XML, JavaScript/DOM/DHTML, Servlets, Ajax, and administrating Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, XSLT, Eclipse, JUnit, JMeter.

* Hands-on experience in Microservices Development.

* Experience in EJB, ClearCase or Subversion, GIT, SQL, JDBC, Web Services, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedure.

* Middleware knowledge, Micro services, REST/ SOAP web services/applications.

* 3+ years' experience in software development life cycle.

* Experience of working in Agile Scrum team and understanding of agile ways of working.

* 3+ years' experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.

* Experience and understanding in production support / performance engineering.

* Experience in a global delivery environment.

* Excellent analytical, design and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

* Analysing new business requirements to define solutions that meet requirements.

* Interfacing with customers.

* Conducting training for peers.

* Applying reusability, prototyping tools and process.

* Working in a team environment.
